"Dream Project" in Brazil at Freudenberg

Two Freudenberg Business Groups supported young people aged 14 to 19 with the "Dream Project" campaign to develop a feel for the labor market at an early age and gain helpful experience for the future.

At the end of October, 18 young people visited the Freudenberg Performance Materials (FPM) and Freudenberg Filtration Technologies (FFT) plants in São José dos Campos to learn more about the technology group, participate in workshops and hear success stories from employees. The meeting was co-organized by Viva Boa Vista, an institution supported by the e² project.

After a welcome breakfast, they received tips on how to create a resume, find job offers, and how to conduct themselves in an interview. Afterwards, they put what they had learned into practice and gave a presentation about their strengths, points that could be expanded upon, and career goals.

“The positive impact we were able to achieve is visible. The young people were very happy to have this opportunity, were very active and informed themselves about Freudenberg even before the visit," says Carla Araújo from Human Resources. "I am very pleased that we were able to welcome the young people and share our knowledge with them.”

Over lunch, employees shared some success stories. The agenda also included a workshop on workplace safety and the environment, and a plant tour at FFT and FPM.
