Workday Rising in Stockholm

Sharing knowledge for more efficient networking: Freudenberg presents best practice project at Workday Rising Event.

Organization of all employees, talent reviews, compensation and benefits and, since last year, recruiting: With the Group-wide introduction of the Workday IT system, Freudenberg took an important step toward transparency and uniformity - and did so globally. At the Workday Rising event, which will take place November 15-17 in Stockholm, Sweden, Freudenberg employees will report on the success of the Group-wide implementation of Workday in the organization. "Since the roll-out, we have all of us – employees, managers and our HR community – been actively at the helm. Workday was one of the largest transformation projects implemented at Freudenberg to date," Esther Loidl, CHRO of the Freudenberg Group, comments on the project.

We've rolled out Workday to 50,000 employees in 60 countries, which is a milestone for us. Now we want to share our insights that made this transformation possible.

Sarah O'Hare, Global Head of Human Resources at the Freudenberg Group

It is precisely this path to transformation that the Freudenberg employees involved will present as a best practice example to Workday specialists, as well as existing and potential customers, during the event. From global reach to working with the works council to technical challenges – the project was complex. "We've rolled out Workday to 50,000 employees in 60 countries, which is a milestone for us. Now we want to share our insights that made this transformation possible," said Sarah O'Hare, Global Head of Human Resources at the Freudenberg Group, who will give a presentation during the event. In total, ten Freudenberg HR employees will attend the event to share insights and inform and update themselves during keynote speeches, panel discussions and panel talks.
