Every child or young person is capable of learning when are offered the right conditions for such learning. However, in Brazil, the level of education provided in many public schools is insufficient and, therefore, obstacles are increasing on the way to building a professional career or access to the labor market.
To promote quality access to education and offer a free preparatory course for young people to enter in technical schools, FEAV (Fórum das Entidades Assistenciais de Valinhos - Forum of Valinhos Assistance Entities) with the support of EagleBurgmann are involved in JOVEMTEC, a project that willassist 33 young people from public schools that performed well. This is another initiative supported by the Freudenberg Group's e² project.
The project's inaugural class was held in Valinhos (SP), on September 08th, with the presence of young people, partners, and authorities. EagleBurgmann was present to celebrate the initiative and start this transformative action. The preparatory course will last 15 months and will be held from Monday to Friday, from 6:30 pm to 9:15 pm.
Supporting the JovemTec project with the preparation of young students to enter in Technical schools is extremely important.

“Supporting the JovemTec project with the preparation of young students to enter in Technical schools is extremely important, because we offer to these young people an opportunity to obtain professional training at an early stage of their lives and therefore give them an opportunity to be self-sufficient. In addition, EagleBurgmann is a company that requires technical wordforce to carry out its activities. As a vision of the future, it would be very interesting if one day we had an employee hired, who was supported by the JovemTec project, in our company and who could develop his career with us, and who knows, take a leadership position, continuing projects like this”, says Rodrigo Vilela, Managing Director of EagleBurgmann do Brasil.
