During November 5-10, Freudenberg Group is having its debut at the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE), one of the world’s largest import fairs in China. On an impressive 150 m² booth in auto exhibition area, Freudenberg showcases a full range of sustainable solutions for automotive and transportation industry.
CIIE is a bridge between global enterprises and Chinese market.

Over 20 sealing, anti-vibration, technical textile, filter and chemical specialty products, as well as advanced fuel cell technology from participating Freudenberg Business Groups are highlighted through an innovative new energy car model, 3D holographic projection and touchscreen displays. Some of the new products were introduced for the first time in Asia.
In addition, there are two interactive experience areas specially set up on the booth which attracted a lot of visitors, including a driving simulation chair featuring Vibracoustic NVH solutions and a big plastic bottle model focusing on Freudenberg’s Sustainability effort on recycling PET bottle.
Continued investment in high-tech manufacturing infrastructure and local R&D facilities are integral to the Freudenberg Group's long-term approach and innovation strategy in China. Today, China is Freudenberg's third largest market with a workforce of more than 7,000 employees at over 70 locations, including 28 production sites.
Innovating Together for Sustainability
On November 8, Freudenberg hosted its first Innovation & Technology Forum with the theme of Sustainability in Transportation Industry in CIIE. Around 100 participants including customers, partners, government representatives and media attended the 3-hour event packed with keynote speeches and panel discussion from senior executives from leading automotive companies across the value chain like Volkswagen, Schaeffler and Freudenberg, as well as ESG expert from PwC.
