EagleBurgmann celebrates the opening of a new production site in Valinhos, Brazil, on 3 November. On a 12,500 m² plot of land, 2,500 m² of production space and with 1,000 m² the headquarters of EagleBurgmann do Brasil have been created there.
Mechanical seals, expansion joints, supply systems and other industrial sealing solutions for demanding applications will be produced in Valinhos. EagleBurgmann's customers include the who's who of the oil and gas, paper and mining industries in Brazil. More than 100 colleagues work on innovative sealing systems for these customers.
More than 200 guests are expected to attend the opening ceremonies, including Esther Loidl from the Board of Management of the Freudenberg Group and Dr Andreas Raps, CEO of EagleBurgmann and member of the Executive Council of the Freudenberg Group.
Other Freudenberg Business Groups are already present at the Valinhos site - giving EagleBurgmann an existing network and good opportunities for synergies. The site has been designed with a strong focus on sustainability. State-of-the-art machinery and energy-efficient systems characterise Freudenberg's new flagship in South America. For example, the site produces its own electricity consumption via a solar plant.
