Climate, energy and future: words that are more than ever present and inseparable. On July 5, 2022, the Weinheim Vocational School Center hosted the nationwide educational event "Energy Vision2050 - Our Climate. My energy. Your future."
Freudenberg and other sponsors supported the event, which was attended by some 450 students from the Hans Freudenberg School, the Helen Keller School and the Johann Philipp Reis School.
"The issue of sustainability and climate protection is currently highly topical among schoolchildren. The necessary change is a task for society as a whole, and today's young people are part of the solution. "Energievision2050" informs directly and entertainingly about the necessary energy turnaround and shows (energy) visions. With our campaign, we succeed in enriching school lessons with well-founded and intensive content and in motivating students for personal participation," Franz Schättle of Multivision e. V. is convinced.
Multivision has been recognized as an "Education for Sustainable Development" measure and is one of the largest German players in sustainability education. The campaign stops at around 2,000 schools and will thus reach around 500,000 young people.
